production

tomatoes bending the stems until they reach the ground and peppers everywhere...the changing weather doesn't seem to have slowed the garden down...at least another month or so of high gear production before it shuts down for the season...i've been looking for anomalous behavior in the annuals there since july and there hasn't been any...from production to predation it has been a pretty normal garden season...i missed the planning meeting ( i had to work ) so i'm not sure what they have in mind for next year...i do have an abundance of asparagus berries at the pgp if anyone at the community garden is interested in trying their hand at a perennial crop...the soil on campus is underlain by sand and provides the excellent drainage the asparagus needs and i see at least one unused bed there...just an offer frome one garden to another.
silly of me to forget to put in a photo of asparagus "berries"...these things happen
