potted ( or busheled )potatoes

there are nineteen yema de huevos plants up and running in the bushel baskets outside the south side of the house along with some rye and dixie clover i put in there to keep the nitrogen level up as the growth progresses and in preparation for the eventual move indoors once the weather cools off...another grow light fixture seems to be in order as the population of plants scheduled to move into the basement this winter grows...the cost is minimal and in conjunction with bringing them upstairs into natural light should ( hopefully ) support their needs...the winter wheat is tillering indicating that the roots are well established and that the plant can now put some energy into above ground growth before dormancy set sin ( if dormancy sets in...we have had this discussion before ) both the intentional and unexpected fall planters are coming along...i will do what i can to insure they thrive.
