let's talk teosinte

the plants on the trolley under the light are all looking fairly good ( still no sign of any burdock )...and i am inordinately pleased with the northern tepehuan teosinte int he second and third photos...however the zea mexicanan in the bottom photo is doing remarkably well so far broad leaves and two pronounced tillers...this from four year old seed...true the percentage of seeds that germinated was on the low end...but if the ones that do pop up are all this robust the patch i seeded last month ( and which i will add to next march )will have some interesting genetic material to swap around plants in autumn 2015..looking forward to that.
