uninfested = unsprayed

i sprayed the beans and the cucumbers in the top three photos, and, while neem oil is non-toxic to mammals, i would suggest a thorough washing of any beans or cucumbers you pick from the garden until this whole beetle thing is resolved...the tomatoes in the fourth photo were not sprayed because i could detect no beetles...likewise the jerusalem artichokes...although they might just eat the beetles...the asparagus branch in the sixth photo is getting ready to both "fern" and flower without a beetle in sight...the bottom photo is some of the beds in the garden...the impact of the insects has been pretty minimal and with some attention over the course of the next couple of weeks i am fairly certain we will get it taken care of...no need to panic...the garden's health is good.
