indoor season begins

like the teosinte, some of the outdoor plants also were simply wrapped against he frost...the mashua and the peat pots of green manures for the community garden that were well enough along just got covered with some fabric...the green manures that were just germinating however were a bit too fragile to chance so they moved into the basement under a grow light to mature a bit more before facing the elements..but that's not the only thing that came in...the yacon is something of an unknown for me...research also tells me it has a seven month season that is only about five months gone...it won't last to december outside...so it is inside now and under the lights...the plant room is alive again and there will be more all winter...i see spuds to tend to and germination tests..and just maybe a experiment in yacon propagation to keep me off the streets
