autumn bees

first some teosinte ears though...more developing seeds are becoming visible in the husks...good news...
and a sampling of flowers that don't interest the bees one but but have my attention...
and a bloom on a mashua cousin that does interest them...
and, as promised, some busy pollinators, it is cooler here to day ( high temperature was in the low seventies fahrenheit ) but very sunny and warm enough for the honey bees to fly ( fifty five or warmer )...working hard before the winter sets in to feed the hives..autumn is serious business in the subsistence world...from bees to humans everyone's working..we will try to have a look at the harvest soon enough.
